Typically played to WFTDA/MRDA rules in the UK, this is an exciting sport. World Skate also hold championships for this discipline played to varied rules.

During each jam, players skate counterclockwise around the track. The jammer scores a point for each opposing blocker they lap. Blockers have the dual role of defending against the opposing jammer and assisting their own jammer by creating openings and providing protection.
